How does this all work?

Easy! Just send Ryan an email at mckinleydesignstudio@gmail.com to start a consultation. He will let you know if he can make your item a reality. Don't be shy...he's willing to take on most projects, and he knows you'll be thrilled with the final piece!
How long does it take to make?

Most projects require 3-4 weeks to complete. Even if Ryan says "This will require 30 hrs of labor," it may still require a few weeks to allow glue, paint and finishes to cure, so an order placed on Monday will not be ready for delivery by Friday.

Also, we have been blessed with business lately, and we book on a schedule. We may be able to start your project right away, or we may need to place you in a queue. Either way, when it is your turn, Ryan will give your project all the attention and devotion it deserves.
Do you rent your studio?
We do! But, we'd like to get to know you, first. We rent the studio "as-is" for $40 an hour. This allows you to use the space for a meeting (up to 30 people for a meeting), for your own build (up to 6 people for a build), or to learn how to use the various tools (up to two people for lessons).

For more formal events, we have two modes: Party Mode and Reception Mode.

Party Mode*: We'll clean up the space, push all the tools back and out of the way, sweep and mop. We will put out tables and chairs if you'd like, up to 15 tables and 60 chairs. You clean up when you are done, and everything is wonderful!
--$200 cleaning deposit, refundable after the event
--$300 for up to 3 hours with 2 hour pre-party set up grace period and 1 hour post-party clean up.
--$100 for the DeeJay set-up--two 500 Watt Speakers and one 1000W Subwoofer, microphones if required.

Reception Mode*: Everything included in Party Mode, but... We will hide every tool and workshop wall with 12 foot high, silver convention curtains. LED Accent Lighting will set the mood for the occasion, and you'll get 24 hours prior to the event to come in and set up.

--$650 for up to 6 hours of party time, with 24 hr pre-party set up and 2 hour post-party take down

*No Alcohol allowed. If alcohol is a deal breaker, leasee must provide proof of private liability insurance for the event showing coverage up to $1,000,000 paid to McKinley Design Studio LLC.
